How it works?
Funstation is the first DIGITAL DOWNLOAD KIOSK that works as an ATM, or a kiosk self service, where the user can navigate through the graphical interface by touching the screen and choosing the content he wants, listening or watching samples of all available content.
After surfing and finding the desired items at the FunStation, the user chooses the device which he wants to transfer the content among the options: iPod, Cell Phone (via Bluetooth) or (Memory Cards), MP3/MP4 Players, Pen Drives and Memory Cards (memory cards used in phones, cameras, camcorders etc.), and transfer all the content in a very quick and easy way.
A CD containing 14 tracks is transferred to an iPod or MP3 player in about 10 seconds.
Unlike other digital download kiosk on the internet, at FUNSTATION no user’s registration is required for browsing and transferring the content in the stations, avoiding that way the release of personal and private information such as email, bank details etc.
The FUNSTATION allows people access to the Digital World, in an easy, fast and at the desired moment.
Below follows the description of the main steps done by the user during the browsing at the FUNSTATION graphical interface:

Browsing and Creating your Playlist
- The FUNSTATION offers the following options of content to the user: SONGS, VIDEOS, AUDIOBOOKS AND RINGTONES.
- These contents are distributed in the interface’s Environments - Music, Video, Audiobook and Tones - plus a FREE environment where all free content of the whole station is available, that way making the navigation and browsing easier for the user.
- The four environments have a similar navigation, which means that the user won’t have to learn new steps for each type of content he wishes to browse.
- When the user chooses one of the environments in the home screen, FUNSTATION shows that environment’s content. For example, if the user chooses the MUSIC environment, the main content classified by musical genre is shown, as well as themes like RELEASES, MORE PURCHASED, OUR FAVORITES etc.
- After choosing an item by touching on the album cover, the user is redirected to the Artist page where he will find all available discography of this artist and listen 30 seconds of each song. On this screen the user can select the chosen song touching the BUY bottom, sending it automatically to his playlist.
- The playlist can be visualized at the right side of the screen by the user during all navigation process. That way, the user won’t have to go to shopping kart page to see basic information such as selected and types of content, number of songs, total purchase cost etc. Beside that, the user has the delete option right in his playlist.
- Beside the pre selected filters by FUNSTATION on the displays, the user also has the browsing options such as: search by genre, by artist, by album title and song (see fig. in the topic below).

Finalizing the Purchase and selecting the Transferring Method
- Once the playlist is defined, the user touches the option PAY on the right up corner, right above the Playlist, available in all navigation pages.
- NOn the page “Choose Transferring Method”, the following options are presented: USB, iPOD, MEMORY CARD, and BLUETOOTH.
- The USB option is selected for transferring to MP3/MP4, Pen Drives, External Hard Drives and any other devices the uses a USB connection.
- The BLUETOOTH option is selected for direct transferring to Cell Phones or other kind of bluetooth devices.

Payment and Transferring
- The payment is made with the FUNCARD, a card with a PIN CODE that correspond a certain pre paid value, and can be acquired in the same place where the FUNSTATION is.
- This process is very similar to that used by telecoms operators for the sale of credits pre-paid phones.
- The Funcards can be found with the values: 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50 dollars, and are also distributed for purchase content available in section FREE of FunStation.
- In a determinate step of the process, the user types the PIN CODE printed on the FUNCARD, transferring, that way, all the paid items to his device.

Security
- In case of unexpected problems during the transferring, (for example, when the cell phone battery is over), FUNSTATION offer to the user the option RECOVER PURCHASE, which means the user can recover his purchased content in any other FUNSTATION, in any other time, by typing the PIN CODE of his FUNCARD.
- During the first 30 days after the purchase, two backups of the purchases made by the user are available, in case, for example, the loss or theft of your device for the transfer and storage of content.
- The user’s data aren’t exposed on the internet since it requires no registration to use the FunStation.

Legal Content
- All content available and marketed in FUNSTATION is legalized by paying everyone involved in its production like Artist, Composers, Producers, Authors, Seals, Labels.
